I have been lucky enough to travel to some very exotic and sometimes very remote places to capture some rewarding photographs of plants in their natural environments. 

It is however not always the plants thousands of miles away that can provide the ideal photograph, I have learned to not take for granted or dismiss what you may find on your own doorstep, my adopted county of Lincolnshire , despised by a few for being so flat, is home to some stunning plants. Orchids always provide something a bit special.
